In the heart of the Ashanti capital, Kumasi, Ghana is the location!
Kumasi is the capital of the Ashanti (Akan) people of west Africa where the honourable King Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II sits on the ancient Golden Stool. It is only fitting the Golden Chair International land in this beautiful city to lay the foundation for this an many other professional barbering projects to come.
After having organised multiple educational and informative events in both Accra and Kumasi, Charles André decided to take his knowledge and desire to create similar events to advance the barbering profession in Africa as he has done in Europe. After cancelling the previously planned event for March 2020, we are looking forward to finally making a dream come true in August of 2023!

To enter as a spectator the entrance is free! Now, if you want to register, there is a registration fee of 80.00 Euros or 110.00 Euros depending on the category you register for. There is a discount if you register before December 31 !
With the exception of Professional Barbers in the student / apprentice category , you can compete in all the categories you want and pay the corresponding registration fee.Be careful, an «Apprentice» with a lot of skill, can participate in other professional categories if he is up to the task.
Yes, the contestants must bring their models for each category.Each contestant will be responsible for participating with their own models.

Yes, there are several hotels and hostels in the Poble Nou neighborhood.Barcelona is full of hotels of all categories. We reserve some rooms for participants in a 4-star hotel near the venue where the event takes place. For more information contact us by email or through the contact form.
